Looking for Zosia

On Thursday, September 28th, at 6:00 PM storyteller Sharon Wood will present a living history program about life in Claremont in the early 19th century. Sharon will take on the role of a Polish immigrant, speaking about living in a close-knit ethnic community, working in the mills and hoping for a better life for her children. This program is offered in conjunction with the library's "We the People" grant awarded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Library Association. This program is appropriate for grade 4 through adult.
