Antique Dolls: History, Care and Restoration
Raymond has been making dolls for thirty-four years. In 1994 she received a degree in doll repair from Lifetime Career Schools and established Doll Med, specializing in antique and modern dolls, toys and accessories. She later opened ReLiving Dolls, a retail shop next to her home, where she redesigns and repairs dolls and cross country skis. Local antique shops and flea markets provide inspiration and unique items for her dolls.
Raymond works at cPort Credit Union as a Member Service Representative and Loan Processor. She and her husband Peter live at Raymond’s Retreat, the cottage he built in 1985 next door to the family home her father built in the 50s. They share their home with Velo, a spaniel/hound mix and Odyssey, a long-haired black and white tuxedo cat.
The program will be held at 7pm at the Trinity Episcopal Parish Hall, 120 Broad Street, Claremont, New Hampshire and is free and open to the public. The content is appropriate for ages 10 to adult.
