Summer Reading Program



The Fiske Free Library's Summer Reading Program continues with more great programs for children. On Thursday, July 23rd at 1:00 PM the Audubon Society will present "Raptor Rapture", a program about birds of prey. On Wednesday, July 29th at 10:30 AM Cathy Ann the Clown will be at the library entertaining children with songs, activities, and face painting. On Friday, July 31st at 1:00 PM Steve Blunt returns to close out this summer's festivities with his unique brand of songs and stories. Don't miss these terrific programs! Convergence of Valor


New Hampshire author Guntis Goncarovs will be at the library on Thursday, July 9 at 6:00 PM to discuss his novel "Convergence of Valor: The Men of the H.L. Hunley." Set in Charleston in 1864, "Convergence of Valor" is a historical adventure that follows the story of a German spy who becomes embroiled in the American Civil War when he stumbles upon an intriguing Confederate war machine.
Books will be available for purchase the night of the program and will be signed by the author. For more information please call the library at 542-7017.
