Meet the Artist: Ernest Montenegro

Claremont sculptor and painter Ernest Montenegro will be at the library on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 PM. Ernest will show examples of his work and will discuss the creative process he uses in his painting and sculpture.

Arsenic and Old Lace

The Friends of the Fiske Free Library will be presenting the classic comedy Arsenic and Old Lace at the Claremont Opera House on Friday, October 24, at 7:30 PM; Saturday, October 25, at 7:30 PM; and Sunday, October 26, at 2:00 PM. Performed and produced by your friends and neighbors this delightful comedy is sure to be a hit. Come spend an evening or an afternoon in the company of of the most lovably loony family you'll ever meet. Meet the Authors: Ernest Hebert and Jon Gilbert Fox

Ernest Hebert and Jon Gilbert Fox will be at the library on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 PM to sign copies of their book New Hampshire Patterns. Ernest Hebert, a Keene native, currently resides in West Lebanon. He is a professor of English at Dartmouth College. Jon Gilbert Fox is a free-lance photographer who has been a major contributor to Vermont Life Magazine. New Hampshire Patterns features a collection of photographs from around New Hampshire taken by Jon Gilbert Fox accompanied by Ernest Hebert's essays.
Books will be available for purchase. Originals of the photographs from the book are on display in the Gilmore Room of the library.
